Stroudsburg United Methodist Church hosts a Soup Kitchen every Sunday.
Over the last 25 months, we have been serving our Soup Kitchen guests take-out meals to ensure nutritious meals and food stability remains a vital part of our community. On this Resurrection Sunday, we will return to dine-in from 2:00 - 3:00 pm in the Soup Kitchen for our guests. We look forward to welcoming back our guests as it has been one of the most frequently asked questions. We are always looking for additional volunteers to prepare and serve the meals. Please contact the church office if you are interested - 570-421-6020.
Stroudsburg UMC makes a difference in our community by supporting Family Promise. Family Promise transforms the lives of those in our community facing homelessness. While Family Promise began with the model of host congregations rotating the support for unhoused persons in Monroe County. Adaptability and flexibility became paramount during the pandemic as the role of individual faith communities shifted. Stroudsburg UMC supports Family Promise with food, household resources, and volunteer support. If you would like to be a part of these vital ministries, please contact the office at email@example.com.
